The GPU industry is currently pondering whether AMD or Nvidia will fail to sell high-end GPUs. Both companies realized that they could charge whatever price they wanted and people would pay. The idea has been met with some resistance in the US for the latest GPUs from both camps. At launch, the RTX 4070Ti was widely criticized for being too costly. The Radeon RX7900 XT was dismissed because it was $100 cheaper and much more powerful. These two GPUs seem to be very popular across the pond.
TechEpiphany, a Twitter account, tracks GPU sales at Germany's largest reseller MindFactory. This account keeps track of both overall and weekly sales. This gives a good overview of Europe's GPU market. Germany is a big gaming country. The RTX 4070T Ti was the most popular GPU this week, with 280 units sold. This is surprising considering the original price of $899 for the GPU, but it was lowered to $799 in order to curb complaints about price gouging. The GPU was criticized online in the USA for being too expensive at launch. It sold twice as many units this week as the Radeon RX7900 XTX despite its high price.

Despite the fact that the Radeon RX 7900 XT has only 100 units sold, it is still doing well. It is currently the best-selling GPU according to Wccftech's overall sales. The company has sold 1,865 7900XTs so far, putting it at the top of the podium. The RTX 4070T Ti, which has 1,755 GPUs sold, is next to it. The RTX4080 is third, which is surprising considering that US gamers mock this GPU's high price. It is still readily available from all online resellers.
It seems that things are quite different in the other part of the world. It seems that the outrage seen online has not reached Germany. They may not care. If you don't upgrade from an older card, both GPUs are great GPUs. They both support high-fps 1440p gaming even if they've been around for a while. The Radeon has 20GB of memory, and a 320-bit bus. Although the 4070 Ti is limited by a 192 bit memory bus, it's not enough to keep people from leaving the Fatherland.
